Since opening the first location in Marion in 2007, Fenter Physical Therapy has more than tripled their footprint on Eastern Arkansas, giving added meaning to their company moto of“Strengthening the Delta”. Now after over 15 years, what began as only a 3-employee operation that included owners Jerry and Sara Fenter along with Melissa Crymes, FPT offers their services of Physical, Occupational and Speech therapies to over 7,865 square miles of Delta Counties.
FPT’s 6 outpatient locations are strategically located throughout Eastern Arkansas to provide the region with better coverage. You will find these locations in Marion, West Memphis, Forrest
City, Brinkley, West Helena, and Osceola. The FPT West Memphis location is part of Delta Orthopaedics Sports Medicine Rehab Institute in conjunction with Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr. Michael Hood. Delta Orthopaedics is the only facility in Eastern Arkansas to offer the combined services of an orthopaedic surgeon and physical therapy conveniently at one location. At the Delta Orthopaedics site, FPT proudly offers the only Aquatic Therapy pool in the Arkansas Delta.
FPT’s services to the region are not limited to therapy treatment in their outpatient clinics, they are also the primary in-home physical therapy provider for East Arkansas home health agencies, serving over 13 Arkansas Delta Counties.
Through these contracted home health agencies, FPT provides Physical, Occupational and Speech therapies to those patients who are unable to attend therapy in a traditional outpatient clinic.
Another aspect of FPT, is their involvement with local schools and their athletes. FPT is actively involved with West Memphis, and Marion Schools, and with ASU Mid-South’s athletic programs providing their support to the teams, along with sports injury treatment in their outpatient clinics. FPT also works as a provider of school based pediatric therapy in the West Memphis and Marion School Districts. They further contract to provide the onsite therapy services for St. Francis Area Development Center in West Memphis providing therapy to young adults with developmental and disability needs.
During their now over 15 years of operation, FPT has received numerous recognition and awards for their success and community involvement.
Through their commitment and dedication to the Delta, FPT has grown substantially since 2007. And with their recent expansion in home health coverage and the addition of their 6th Outpatient Clinic location in Osceola, FPT does not show any signs of slowing down. The vision of partners and business owners, Jerry and Sara Fenter, for “Strengthening the Delta” is truly evidenced in the communities that they serve and treat.
Aquatic Therapy
The pool at Fenter Physical Therapy provides patients with a quicker and less painful rehabilitation.
Post-Surgical Rehab
Rehabilitation programs follow specific post-surgical rehabilitation protocols. We focus on individualized treatment that prepare the patient for returning to optimal strength, function and mobility.
Home Health PT, OT & ST
Our home health therapists provide in home therapy to speed up the recovery process from injury, surgery or illness.
Neurological Rehabilitation
The purpose of Neurological Rehabilitation is to aid recovery from a nervous system injury and to minimize and/or compensate for any functional alterations resulting from it.
Work Conditioning/
Hardening
Work conditioning and work hardening programs are primarily used for manual labor workers.
Chronic Pain Disorders
Low back pain, neck pain and arthritis that last for several months or even several years are examples of chronic pain.
